This is probably going to be the most boring week ever.

Jason went back to work today. He's been working all of this time of course, but today starts what I refer to as "his crazy schedule." For the next few months he will be working longer hours, a couple of overnights a week, and only getting maybe one day off a week and no holidays off.

This week is going to  be so boring for us. I cannot stand to just sit around the house all day, but it looks like this week we won't have much of a choice.

Because of Thanksgiving, almost all of our friends are going out of town. We only have one playdate, no school and only 1 hour of therapy all week!

I couldn't even go to church this morning because I just didn't feel like making the effort to get all dressed up and then get called out of the service within 15 minutes because Jackson hates the nursery.  Depending on who is in there, some of the nursery workers can calm him down or redirect him if he starts getting "punchy" (which is exactly what they called it last time they sent him out- when he gets frustrated he starts pulling on other kids. I can't really explain it and I don't really know why he does it) but most are quick to just call me.

So anyway we are about 3 hours in to Jason's new schedule and I'm already bored out of my mind.  Jackson and I have: ate breakfast, played puzzles, read books, played outside, colored pictures, had a dance party, and are currently watching Signing Time.  I'm about to feed him lunch and put him down for a nap. Honestly, I almost don't want to let him go to sleep because then I really won't have anything to do! LOL

I think I'm going to try to potty train him this week. With no reason to leave the house, it's the perfect time to do it, right?

5 love me:

=( I totally know the feeling although our current bout of never leaving the house is self imposed lol! I used to take Mad to Target especially around this time of year just to look at the pretty holiday decorations and we spent so much time at the library!

Sounds fun. Sorry you are going to be bored! Just think though, you can make lot's of stuff for your shop, AND you can read a ton of books with all your free time! I do feel for ya though! I hope it gets better soon! :)

That's actually a really good idea Brandy! The only question is...can I keep Jackson from breaking all of my ornaments? LOL
