Painting & First Artwork

Tot School

Last week I made edible finger paint for Jackson.

Recipe:

1/4 cup cornstarch
2 cups cold water
food coloring (red, blue, yellow)
airtight storage container (bowl or jar)

Directions: Mix the cornstarch, water, and food coloring in a saucepan and boil until the mixture thickens. Allow paint to cool before storing in airtight container.

And he created his first piece of art work!
I got too messy to actually grab the camera and take pictures of him painting.

Later in the week we decided to "paint" with yogurt.

He had so much fun!
I think this week we will try it again with pudding :)

19 love me:

Fantastic pictures. I have a picture of Alyssa chewing on a porkchop bone...she had no teeth but loved the taste. It is so fun to look back on them now plus I use them as blackmail since she is 16 and just started dating...LOL. I have and still do enjoy every single second of being her mom.

Yogurt is a very interesting artistic medium. I think you have a visionary on your hands.
