I have a huge plastic bin full of Jackson's toys that I put in the floor with him everyday, and of course, he ends up playing with things like the hamper....

Yeah, he likes to get all of his dirty clothes out...
and chew on his box of wipes. He really likes playing with that thing for some reason.

And OF COURSE looking at himself in the mirror. He crawls half way around the house and right to this thing to look at himself.

So why do we buy him toys?

35 love me:
Mirrors make good friends to many people regardless of age. LOL And don't get me started on wipes! With a little baby food on the side they can't be beat! :p
My Jackson loves pulling everything off of the table and when I put him in his playpen with his toys he throws them out of the playpen. I am so with you
Hahahaha he is so cute!
So cute. My son is the same way he love to look at himself in the mirror and loves to play with lids.
I often ask myself the same question!! Happy WW!
I asked myself the same question with my kids when they were little. They ended up playing with the box more than the toy.
What a cutie! My daughter used to have a toy bin like that hamper and she would dump all the stuffed animals out to play in it.
He is super cute! My little boy still can't get enough of the mirror and he's three and a half. I guess the fascination is the same.
Happy WW!
Oh! He is SO cute!
What adorable pictures!
Its sooo true! I think this to myself all the time. It doesn't matter what I buy them. They will play with ANYTHING not meant to be played with. Kids! ;)
That is so true, my son is the same way, he'd rather play with our tupperware pitchers or empty boxes than his toys!
Aww he is so cute. Yes that is so true, my kiddos love the wipes container, love to put paci's and other small things inside them.
My kittens do the same thing. We bought them a million toys and what do they play with?
The empty beer boxes. Seriously, it's like Christmas every time there's a new one.
In other news, I have become an alcoholic because it's so damn cute.
Haha! Very good question. ;)
I ask the same thing. Boxes and hampers seem more exciting.
Cute shots!
I used to wonder the same thing with my kids. They always wanted the box the toy came in. Sheesh!
That is so funny! I guess you could save yourself a lot of money on the toys! Your son is adorable.
Happy WW!
Because they're fun for mom and dad to play with! LOL!
Brings back memories... :) My 3 year old would be perfectly happy with only her most favorite baby doll and toy stroller to play with. Oh, yeah...and her brothers.
Both of my sons used to suck on (clean, unused) diaper wipes any chance they got. YUCK!!!
my 3yo prefers the empty papertowel roll to any store bought sword... kids are simple... society isn't.
great photos of the handsome lil guy!!
Oh my that's adorable. They love to play with the weirdest of things :)
My son was the same way loved laundry baskets, boxes, bowls etc. Good for them, it makes great imaginations(:
I often wonder the same thing with mine!
oh yeah, definitely...we all love mirrors...
Oh my goodness! That made me laugh so hard. My little guy is happy with laundry baskets and shipping boxes!
I love his face in the second pic...adorable!!
I agree! They just need empty boxes and Tupperware and they are ALL set!
What a great post. Stopping by from SITS to leave some bloggy love!
Cute boy. I'm not trying to compare your child to my new puppy or anything, but I feel you - just with food. My puppy eats everything but her food. She's currently eating my sofa. I don't get it. I could skip the treats and Purina altogether, if I didn't love her so much.
I think many of us have the same question...right now my baby's favorite "toys" are the laptop, remote, phone, diapers (clean ones) and magazines.
Despite surrounding him with so many colorful toys, he always wants to play with the non-toy.
Too much fun!
Between boxes, mirrors and shoes I've asked the same question.
I hear ya on that....I think I buy toys to "buy" myself about 5 minutes of free time before they get bored and move back to the laundry basket, "off limits" drawers, hair brushes, etc.. ;-)
That's pretty much what I do in a given day, too!
So true! Each time I step on a blasted lego piece I ask myself this question!
